The Filmfare OTT (Over-the-Top) Awards is an initiative by Filmfare, one of India’s most prestigious and long-standing film magazines and award ceremonies.
As the entertainment landscape evolved, OTT platforms gained immense popularity, providing a diverse range of content, including web series, films, documentaries, and more. These platforms offer creators a unique space to experiment with storytelling, enabling them to explore narratives and genres that might not have found a place in traditional cinema or television.
The 4th edition of the esteemed Filmfare OTT Awards took place this year to recognize excellence within the realm of OTT series and web original films. Celebrating outstanding artists, directors, storytellers, musicians, and technicians, the ceremony was held on November 26, 2023.
Alia Bhatt secured the coveted title of Best Actor in the female category for a web original film for her remarkable performance in ‘Darlings’. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao’s exceptional portrayal in ‘Monica O My Darling’ earned him the Best Actor award in the male category under the critics’ acclaim.
Additionally, Sonakshi Sinha’s impactful role in the series ‘Dahaad’ earned her the prestigious Best Actor award in the female category, recognized within the critics’ segment for her stellar performance.
